Wally's Pad is situated at 12 Ranfurly Terrace, Raetihi on a large, grassy section with a great mountain view.
There's off-street parking for up to 6 vehicles. Turoa skifield is an appx 25 min drive. Whakapapa is an appx 45 min drive.
The Whanganui river is an appx 30 min drive. National Park is an appx 20 min drive. Ohakune is an appx 8 min drive.
Auckland is an appx 4 hr drive. Wellington is an appx 4 hr drive.

If you're coming from Auckland Wally's Pad is appx 20 mins south from National Park on SH4. DON"T take the left turn off to Ohakune just after Horopito, stay on SH4, Raetihi is appx 5 mins further. Ranfurly Terrace is the first street on your right as you come into Raetihi, just after the 50kmph sign. Wally's Pad is on the corner of Ranfurly Tce and Ward St, 75m up Ranfurly Tce on the left hand side.

If you're from Wellington Wally's Pad is appx 25 mins west of Waiouru via Ohakune on SH49. As you come into Ohakune, stay on SH49 until you reach the BP petrol station on the corner, turn left here onto Raetihi Ohakune Rd. Raetihi is appx 8 mins along this road. When you arrive at the giveway sign at the intersection of SH4 and Raetihi Ohakune Rd turn right onto SH4 and drive appx 200m until you reach Ranfurly Tce on your left. Ranfurly Tce is the last street on your left before the 100kmph sign leaving Raetihi. Wally's Pad is on the corner of Ranfurly Tce and Ward St, 75m up Ranfurly Tce on the left hand side.

Wally's Pad sits on the edge of Raetihi, an historic, pioneering timber town established in 1893. Local attractions include the waimarino museum & the southern hemisphere's oldest theatre.
